How to reach us



FOR THOSE ARRIVING FROM BERGAMO AND BRESCIA:
Tonale S.S. 42, at the traffic light in Malonno, turn right towards Zazza, go ahead to a crossroad  with 4 streets.
From there, follow the signs to Val Malga and the huts in the area.
Continue going uphill over Val Malga restaurant, to the end of the paved road, where at Ponte del Guat locality, you will find an ample free parking.

FOR THOSE ARRIVING FROM BRENNERO AND TONALE PASS:
A22 motorway,  exit at San Michele all'Adige and follow the signs to Cles-Malè.
Then,  take the S.S. 42 to the Tonale Pass, and once you reach it, you will drive down to Edolo.
Immediately after the small gallery, turn left towards Brescia.
At the second roundabout turn left, pass the village of Sonico and the hamlet of Rino and continue going uphill towards Garda to a crossroad with 4 streets.
From there, follow the signs to Val Malga and the huts in the area.
Continue going uphill over Val Malga restaurant, to the end of the paved road, where at Ponte del Guat locality, you will find an ample free parking.

FOR THOSE ARRIVING FROM VALTELLINA AND APRICA PASS:
Valtellina S.S.38, at Tresenda locality take the S.S. 39 towards Aprica Pass.
Drive down to Edolo and, once you cross the main square,  turn right towards Brescia.

From there, follow the signs to Val Malga and the huts in the area.

ACCESS ROUTES

Once you leave your car at Ponte del Guat (mt. 1528), you soon reach Premassone farmstead with  annexed restaurant (mt. 1585).
After the ford on Remulo creek, continue along the trail n°23 until you reach Malga Frino (mt. 1695).
Continue towards the extremity of Val Malga, where the trail climbs up on granite steps and, crossing some hairpins  carved out of the rock, you get to the top of the mythical “Miller Stairs” (mt. 2050).
From this point, the route will be easier and, after a small group of cabins and verdant pastures, you will reach the dam of Miller Lake.
The hut is just up there, on your left (mt. 2166).
